Alright! After a painstaking 20 hours, I have finished a wonderful car completely in Illustrator CS2. All blends, solids, and opacity tricks I've learned, no gradient meshes.

This looks like a real Bugatti to me. With your permission, I'd like to use this car to recreate a classic Far Side cartoon. Specifically, I'd like to show this car turned upside down on the Autobahn or on a race track, with a howling dog sitting on top, and with the text caption "When Car Chasers Dream."
